"This is enough. The topic was locked and there is no need to bring it to this topic."
You already did that, and if I cared I could ask that the policy against personal attacks be enforced. If you really think it's enough then simply let us know what the policy is and leave it. But it's your call, I'll let you have the last word, whether it actually answer the question or not.

Go back to IRC and take your "Pet" dev with you if your pushing for Daifne to ban you for some sort of idiot reason she is not going to. I would think also that a dev had better things to do than get involved in a difference of opinion on mozillazine maybe he would be better off not WONTFIXing so many bugs and actually doing some work on them.
What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

@Daifne
Where are you getting your information from?
Do you contend that Lucy's post quoted above is untrue?

jeremybaron,
Since this appears to be your first registered post here on the forums, I recommend that you don't get involved in this issue. You were never in to start and you should not enter it now. Please stay out of it.
Also, this thread is for reporting spam, trolls, and etc. Not for this type of discussion.

Well, you know who I am don't you? and I've told you about this type of stuff before, haven't I?
Frank Lion wrote:The 'grunt work', Lucy? I have come across pineapples that could display more 'people skills' than you are demonstrating in these forums recently...
Knowledge-wise, I'm sure that you could have an important role to play in all this and you're welcome to participate, of course. But how about leaving the human 'people skills' side to others, before you empty the damn place, eh?

Remember? Now listen to me, I've read that thread on Support and you simply cannot blunder your way around here...you are just not cut out for the 'people skills' stuff.
There are hundreds of threads and posts in Support and Mods have to react quickly here. This is not some quaint debating society, these are active Support forms.
I'm sure everyone appreciates any work that you or Mike do, but where were all you guys when million upon millions of passwords were wiped out with Firefox 2.0.0.2. ? Nowhere to be seen here, that's for sure. You guys just can't have it both ways, disappear off the face of the earth when it hits the fan and then clumsily swan about here, expecting busy people to 'know who I am!'
Geeks don't make good diplomats - they make good browsers. Stick to what you know, please.
Seriously, please, you rub people up the wrong way, every time you come here. OK?

Mike was at FOSDEM interacting with the volunteer developer community to help keep the project strong, AND working away on his laptop on the password bug, missing some interesting discussions. What were you doing? Flaming Mike?

2.0.0.2 didn't wipe out passwords. If "millions upon millions" really were wiped out, you're sure think someone would have filed a bug by now.

What? like this one, for example? https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371525
Some people lost 700+ passwords with that stuff...and you breezing in trying to deny it, is not going to change that. You been living in a hole for the last month or two? - damn forums here were FULL of this stuff....post after post.
Jeeze.

I know I'm probably pushing it here by responding again, but I'm trying really hard to ignore Frank's comment about the "missing" passwords in the 2.0.0.2 update and failing. There was an issue with the new system that left some undetected, although not gone from the profile. Where was I? I was on IRC where I usually give support (just as you do here) helping people correct their files to get their passwords back manually before 2.0.0.3 would do it automatically. If I'd had any idea at all that the forums were operating without the solution (if in fact they were without it when I knew it) I'd have popped my head in.
Don't like how I handle things, just plain don't like me, whatever, but I think it's low for any one of us to question each other's commitment to helping the user. I'd hope it's at least obvious that if we didn't care, we wouldn't clash.

Lucy, I know damn well that the devs were busy and active trying to fix the password bug. I also happen to know that you also were busy on IRC at the time, offering support. That is not the point.
The point is, I was specifically referring to Mozillazine on this. Yes, there was a problem here, as in, explaining to people how to manually edit hundreds of passwords in a signon2.txt...for a start. But even that, is not the main thing - it is, how about a few Devs turning up here and making a statement here, when things go that bad? No one is 'too busy' to do that...and it would make a difference. It would make a difference to the Support people here who feel very unloved and forgotten by the Devs.
For what it's worth, a few simple statements (and maybe even an apology on the password thing) would help a lot here.
No, I don't like how you handle things, but that doesn't mean that I don't like you, neither does it mean that I think that you ever give less than 100% on IRC.
It's just, Lucy...this isn't IRC. See?
Now, how about we forget all this nonsense, eh?

Sighs and here I was going to split the thread as Dartman's last post was where I was when I saw it was getting long... while brushing up on some research on who is who.
I do know who you Lucy and Mike is to Mozilla (and to each other ;) ) and I do appreciate both of your work.
Now can we all not just relax and get along so we can try and help make Firefox better?

No, I wasn't CTho9305 and I have to tell you, that in the UK, 'Flaming' is an expression only used by children, not adults.
How about you calm down, read properly what has been written and then quietly go back to doing whatever it was you were doing before. OK?

I think you're interpreting that quote with the wrong definition. On the internet 'flame' or 'flaming' is often used as defined at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flaming
