Mozilla bumper sticker graphics
I have created a couple of Mozilla bumper sticker graphics and posted them here:

What do you folks think? Any good?
If anyone wants to use these to make real bumper stickers, please do. I'm not quite sure yet how to make these in to real bumperstickers. I hear you can use a quality color inkjet or color laser printer with large shipping labels, but I don't think those would last long if they got wet. Perhaps covering it with some of that sticky transparent plastic sheet stuff (I forget what it is called) would make it last longer. A real plastic bumpersticker would be be better though.

Actually I had some stuff from Avery that worked pretty well for bumperstickers. I may make one of these tonight, if I can find the stock. Nice work.

I found this stuff http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?id=922811 at Office Depot yesterday in the specialty paper section and tried printing out a couple. They look better than I thought they would. Amazingly so far this stuff does seem to be fairly water resistant, especially amazing since I just used my crappy old inkjet to print it.
Glad you guys like them. Thanks!
BTW, I just touched up the first graphic a tad to make the "z" look a little better.

Just a little follow up, that Office Depot stuff has already started fading a bit, the T-rex is supposed to be red not pink! :shocked!: Anyway, I just touched it up with a red permanent marker for now and it looks ok again.
I also printed a couple up on a color laser printer, the toner seems to bubble a little on this type of paper (could just be the printer) but it otherwise looked pretty good and should last longer than anything printed with an Inkjet.

<a href="http://www.cafepress.com">CafePress</a> allows you to upload artwork and put it on a variety of items including shirts, bumper stickers, etc. They also allow you to set up a storefront with it, and they handle all the order processing and fufillment. You also get to set the price on your items so you set your profit on each sale. Just an idea.

I like the first, but I'd like some background colour -- I loved the Mozilla banner they had before doing up the site.

You can still see it (and save yourself a copy) if you do a search from the front page.

yeah they are prettydamn low res for printing, at 300dpi they'll only be a few inches long.
but for a bumper sticker you could probably get away with it
isnt there an svg/vector image of the lizard somewhere?

That SVG version looks cool.
At any rate I though the resolution of mine came out "good enough" for the size I made it although the bigger the bumper sticker the better!
The bumper sticker graphics I made came out 10 inches wide with a 0.5 inch margin in each side. I pasted the graphics in to M$ Word (Should work in Star Office too) and when printed it smooths the edges decently. BTW, the template I made is here http://toastytech.com/good/bumperstickertemplate.zip if anybody wants it.
If you can see pixels then YOU ARE *WAY* TOO CLOSE!
Also I didn't put in any background color because most printers can't physically print in certain margins of the paper.
