But on this one, the flash will display and run for half to one second, then it gets blocked. I'm not sure if this is just a bug or not, but it would be nice to be addressed in a future release.
It's a known problem with certain types of flash with NoScript, and with Flashblock 1.5.2. Just to temporarily hijack this thread, in the latest Flashblock 1.5.unstable (1.5.3a), I've added what I call InstaBlock[TM] which eliminates this delay in blocking flash objects. Unfortunately Flashblock doesn't work in the presence of NoScript, so you are still out of luck.

Phil, you're in this thread whenever you want.
I was working on this problem when my attention has been diverted on the more important (security wise) matter of XSS countermeasures.
Now that those are settled in a very effective way, I'm already back to my ZapForbid(TM) technology (roughly equivalent to your InstaBlock(TM), I guess), that will be baked into the next release candidate of NoScript
BTW, FlashBlock and NoScript work fine together, just FlashBlock won't work on sites which are forbidden by NoScript -- I know Phil knows, just his last statement was not clear on this point IMHO.
