Firefox opens media content with OLD media player

It just started happening the other day- firefox now opens media from sites like Gamespot.com with the old media player, like the one you can run by going to
run: mplayer2
I have media player 11 installed on my computer, and before a couple days ago, it opened fine in firefox.
It is pretty aggravating because it makes it difficult to go full screen with things. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for posting back that reinstalling WMP11 fixed it.
