1/2 & 1/3 zips corrupted?

Post by ugggf »

I have no problem in downloading the 1/2 and 1/3 nighties for windows but the zips appear to be faulty when I try extracting them :( . Anybody knows something about that? And also, happy new year to everybody!...

Someone had the same problem with the 20020103 build (see this one). You may want to try the 20020104 build, which I had no problems unzipping and running. Flii doesn't count. She's got some magic hands to get everything to work. ;)

If you want better luck, go for the 12/28.

That's the one you have to go back to if you want to install themes and extensions, right? At least the 20030106 build unzipped and ran fine for me on XP...

Jars and XPI's haven't worked since the 12/29 build.

Unfortunately, the problem has yet to be fixed. Get your 12/28 while you can.

I've posted this in another thread, but you can download the 12-28 build (for Windows) from my Web site. I am planning on keeping the file up there for a while. :)

Still I'm using 1224. Wondering if I should install 1228 or just wait for the latest nighty that fixes the problem... Any advise?

My advice would be to stick with the 12-24 build unless you have some issues with it. You can always try the 12-28 build, and switch if you like it better than the 12-24 one. :)

yeah. if the 12-24 is working ok with you, and there's no major changes in 12-28, you shouldn't have any problems staying with 24. it's all a matter of how often you like changing and how much of a hastle changing is for you. :)
