File dialog crash

User Help for Mozilla Firefox

Post Posted December 15th, 2003, 11:32 am

I'm using Firebird 0.6.1 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030922 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1) on a debian testing.
It's nice and everything but everytime I need to open a file dialog (open file, save as and so on), Mozilla crashes just before displaying it (only the border of the dialog is drawn then a couple of second later all instances of mozilla die).

I can still open hd files using a 'file://' url but it's not really satisfactory and I still can't save anything.
I couldn't find any log file to guess what went wrong.:?

I suspect it migth be an interaction issue so I'd rather not upgrade firebird without being sure it helps.

I couldn't find anything on this issue here, but I'm sure you can help. ;)

Any idea ? Thanks :)

Glad to hear that, however I did looked for it with bugzilla and didn't find it. :|
May I ask for a reference, a link or at least the actual keywords to search ?
