Partial update doesn't work. I always get an error message telling me to check if Fx is still running.

The weirdest thing just happened. I think I saw a revamped Add-Ons window. I accidentally closed it and now I can't seem to invoke it again.

Ok it has worked now. Apparently the GUI is removed and the updater starts but the Fx process is still running. So I had to close Fx, kill the process manually and then open Fx again so that it could update.

Add-ons looks same for me.

Hence the part where I couldn't invoke it again.

It came up along with the old window.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007080817 Minefield/3.0a8pre ID:

Edit: Found It.

I went poking around in the main chrome jars and found this...

The timestamp in toolkit.jar says 8/7/07 at 11:58PM on extensions.xul.

So I loaded it up in Minefield and found this:

It could have very well been a glitch. But that looks like what I saw.

Does Omega's screenshot remind anyone else of MacOS 7 or older? In terms of graphics and fonts? IMO, it kinda has a weird retro feel to it.

Second issue:

I cannot log in to myspace.com when telling password manager to remember password. I get the standard login screen, then it acts as if I entered some wrong information. When not telling myspace or firefox to remember my login information, it acts normal.

I assume this is to do with the recent password manager issues? Workaround?

I know it's not only on trunk (Firefox 2 has the same behavior), but still:
CTRL + mouse wheel to change font size is ignored while the cursor is on a SELECT/BUTTON

Bug or feature?

I wonder guys are Ctrl + and Ctrl - just supposed to change font size or will they also enlarge pictures and embedded videos in the future? Because that would be totally awesome. Especially if the browser could do some upscaling as well ;).

PageZoom is implemented. At the moment you need an extension to change the factor or use the error console.
It still needs some polishing.

Yeah, I hope you can control page-zoom and text-size independently too. Dunno how the UI is going to end up tho.

Ah ha finally someone else. I thought I was going crazy. This happens on my banking site usaa.com when I enter in my pin to get to certain accounts. The pin is right but if I tell firefox to remember it, its like the characters change and it ends up being the wrong pin because the site tells me to only enter numbers. Can you file a bug report and regression range is about two weeks ago.

Edit: I filed it bug 391514

Well, looks more like a sword of a beginner of a trainee. Some way to go until it looks like a master piece.

Other thing:
The context menu of all my bookmarks in the toolbar is dead (greyed out). Loading of live bookmarks is also off. The bookmarks itself work. Did i have missed something?
