Now i have to figure out if one of the services is related to the firewall.
Think for yourself. Otherwise you have to believe what other people tell you.

Alright. I've been discussing this problem with the people over in the Kaspersky forums. They suggested that I uninstall both KIS and Firefox and then reinstall Firefox first, but not use pipelining or FasterFox. According to one person: "you must make sure that pipelining is not enabled in FF, as it messes up with KIS/KAV's network drivers".
I'll try to get to the bottom of why this is just now happening and then report back.
