zmanzero was one of the 1983 accounts lost as the "old zmanzero " was the old account ("old FatJohn" above is another) as all lost accounts have the old join dates of 01 Jan 1790/31 Dec 1969 depending on time zone your in.
When zmanzero posted back in August this problem did not exist then as the lost accounts only happened recently.

thanks james and monkey, that 'twas it. while the size of my screen doesn't quite encompass 2 full time zones, i have noticed time discrepancies when i have a window open on either side of the screen as it takes my eyes about a minute or so to transverse the vast space of my display. but that is to be expected with such a huge display as mine.

There's a post in Firefox Support with the topic "transdermal celebration tablature celebration cinco de mayo" by sender "snitumstatakr". Sounds pretty insidious to me! And lots more like that one... Somehow I have the feeling it wasn't a human posting it. Perhaps it's time to get creative with the captchas?
EDIT: Or would it be madness to inspect all (guest) posts prior having them show up on the forums?
