Hey, I'm encountering this weird problem: when I click the button "browse", usually to upload stuff, the pop up window doesn't come out, it just doesn't do anything... any help please?
I erased and re-installed firefox completely already...
the "browse" button doesn't work

It all depends on how that website has written the code attached to the button.
- Could be it requires some Active-X in your browser, which Firefox does not support.
- Could be it requires JavaScript. Firefox DOES include JavaScript support, but you must have it activated. To enable JavaScript in Firefox:
Menu path:
Tools | Options ( in Windows), or
Firefox | Preferences (in Mac), or
Edit | Preferences (in *nix)
... then Content
Place a checkmark for 'Enable JavaScript'.
- It could be the button uses JavaScript but you've got it blocked with the NoScripts extension or something similar.
If the above doesn't help, give us the URL of the page giving the problem and we may be able to help further.

Browse button doesn't work
I am having this same problem. When I try to add pictures to my blog or email group, but the browse button doesn't work. But it does work fine when I add pictures to messages from Incredimail. Java script is enabled. I tried adding the addresses to exclude and that doesn't work either.
Next suggestion please?

cindi,
Tools > Error Console, clear what may be in there then go to the page where the Browse button doesn't work - hit the Browse button, then open the Error Console to see what errors are associated with that webpage.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

same thing
i'm experiencing the same issue, came to this forum via google.
there are no errors in the error console. when you click on browse, to navigate to a file for upload (photobucket, an email attachment, myspace photos etc) the button depresses as if it were clicked successfully, but nothing happens.
as i mentioned, there is no error generated, and this does still work in IE on the same computer.
any suggestions? everything used to work perfectly, and nothing that i am aware of has changed recently.

Yes! Cannot use the browse (upload) button, where I was able to only a month ago. No settings have been changed on my PC.
The error reports are

That should be enough to work on! Any ideas guys?
