developers-area at crazzy.se?

Post by KDB9000 »

I came home one day, logged in and tried getting into firefox and I got a pop up that was asking for a username and password to get in the developer-area at http://www.crazzy.se. At first I though it was from the web developer extension, but after disabling it, it came up again. I also have had random closes, like I clicked X because it will close multi windows and it starts a new session each time. not sure if that is related to this problem but it might be. Anyone have any thoughts?

Have you run malware scans?

Yep, nothing but cookies and 2 MRU Objects. Scanned with Ad-Aware 2007. I removed the cookies to see if that would do anything to help.

The same thing is happening to me. Randomly that box will pop up and, when closed, shuts down Firefox.

I've just tried it, I'll let you know if it doesn't work.

The mcarterbrown.com trick didn't work.

So, next, I'm trying dickvl's suggestion.

If that doesn't do it, next step will be to disable External IP, (since it looks like that might be the root problem.)

I'll keep in touch.

Apparently it is caused by the External IP extension.

KDB9000:
Could you edit your first post and change crazy.se to crazzy.se (title and post content) to make it easier to find this post via a forum search?

Enter username and password for "Development-Area" at http://www.crazzy.se

Well that seems to have done it. It seems to be that, odd that it happened with one of my computers. Dickvl, not sure what you mean but it seem SKopischke has it all set. Thx for the help.
