V3 and the "Home" button

Post by CWBillow »

I understand that v3 is in beta... but have they removed the Home button?

I can find it nowhere.

Moving to Firefox Builds...

By Default, it is on the Bookmarks Toolbar... On the left hand side...

I am running Linux, Ubuntu 7.10..
Its the DarkLooks theme from the gnome-themes-extras package in Ubuntu
Also using the Ubuntu Tango Firefox Theme., also available via Synaptic.

It does a few odd things to page colours, sometimes, because it is using the Compiz Negative Module. (The Windows compositor in Ubuntu)

Looks nice :)

There are several Dark Themes for Firefox and Windows around.... Although I don't think everything would match up quite so nicely on a Windows Desktop.

However, you can Dual Boot Windows and Linux, so you can use both (just not at the same time :) )
You can download a Live CD so you can try it without installing.

I will give ubuntu definitly a try in the next version.

How comes that the ubuntu theme looks different to your theme? (colors are mixed) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3766

Its Firefox 3, using Native Icons... Ah.. I just realised I am using the Default Theme in Minefield, rather than the Tango Theme.
This is what Firefox 2 with Tango looks like....

As I have said before, the new RSS icons are superb.
