That's exactly what Mike is trying to tell you. Did you actually read his post? Here it is: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 22#3266222 .

i think i found the solution!

first of all do a version test here
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewCon ... &sliceId=2
if you already have the debug player sorry you re out of luck :p

if you dont have the debug player click here
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewCon ... &sliceId=2
and download the "Flash Player 9 (debugger versions)".

according to your version install the appropriate debug player and thats all.

i ve watched lots of videos in the last three hours and it seems that the freezing problem is gone!

kthxbye

OK, I never had a problem with youtube and still don't. Mine was with myspace. But this fix did help a lot. I still have the problem, But not nearly as often. Everytime I open my profile my music player works fine.. And the videos work again.. But if I pause my music player, It sometimes won't restart and my videos stop working.. Then I have to refresh the page and it all works again.. I'll really need to give this a day or so to see if it's really better.. But so far it's way better.. Thanks.. I may have to pass this info on to the myspace fourm.. There are some people there that had the same problem as I did.. But again, I'll give it a day or so to be sure.. Thanks again Stratis..

I installed debug player. It didnt work at first but after reboot it works. But I dont know if its a long term solution. I solved the problem several times but after awhile it stucked again. Now I have to wait and see.
Thanks anyway.

Well so far for me it fixed it 75% anyway.. On myspace, The music player will play everytime I get on a profile, But still, if I pause it, It doesn't work again and the videos are back to the 2 second deal till I refresh the page.. So it's not a total fix, But more bearable than it was.. I just won't pause the player and turn the volume all the way down on it. Maybe this is only a youtube fix? I don't know, But it's better..

Adobe Video Problem

Post by METALLlC BLUE »

I'm having the same problem guys. I downgraded to 8.0 like one of the guys mentioned earlier. Now I can play my adobe flash music player and videos, only my videos load very slowly and then begin playing all at once! I have multiple videos on my myspace page.

This is a real annoying problem. Anyone have any other ideas?

Finally!!!! I found a solution to this dumb problem that's been plaguing me forever. I noticed that on the rare occasion that i rebooted my pc and flash worked for about a min that the sound was scratchy on occasion. from there i uninstalled my audio drivers and flash videos played completely FINE (sans audio of course) so I reinstalled some newer audio drivers and voila! So I hope this works for all of you since it took me for-freaking-ever to find a workable solution.

Interesting data point: Opera lists Shockwave Flash twice.

Once like this:

Shockwave Flash
application/x-shockwave-flash swf
application/futuresplash spl
C:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins\NPSWF32.dll

Then like this:

Shockwave Flash
application/x-shockwave-flash swf
application/futuresplash spl
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll

Could these be fighting each other?

Exactly what I found also. And I just uninstalled the latter, keeping the one placed in the Opera directory. And voila, videos played perfectly!

Same problem here, installing the 9r47 version did the trick for me, hopefully the version after 9r115 will be ok again.
