You cannot from Firefox as such. Excel may have a method of importing tables but that would have to be taken up in one of the Microsoft forums.

One thing that can work is selecting the table, copying it to the clipboard and insert it with "Paste Special".
If it really works depends on many parameters.

If this is for yourself, I suggest using an Excel web query. In Excel (2002-2003):
Note that this is linked to the web, with cached data. If you update the link, it may discard the cached data.
More info:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel ... 51033.aspx (Office XP)
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel ... 81033.aspx (Office 2000)
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... (office.11).aspx (Office 2003 - technical)
On the other hand, if you want to generate a new page using JavaScript or your server-side code, that probably would get a better response on the mozillaZine Web Development board. If you register on this forum, you can request a moderator to move it over in the "Moderation...Requests" sticky thread here: MozillaZine Site Discussion.
- Data > Import External Data > New Web Query
- Paste the URL and load the page. (This uses the IE rendering engine.)
- Click the yellow arrow for the table you want and Excel will insert it into your sheet.
