I have Adblock plus but it’s not blocking many ads and slows down my old laptop. For example, this big ad (below) which takes time to download, about “Feel Healthy”.

Hi, Jim. The Adblock Plus support pages are at the Adblock Plus site at http://adblockplus.org . Post your question in the forum there at http://adblockplus.org/forum/ . Good luck!

We need some Adblock Plus add-on in this forum, I presume.
Damnit, folks, it's Fx, not FF!

Adblock Plus has its own support forum:
http://adblockplus.org/forum/
There is an Adblock Plus topic here on Mozillazine:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=377920
... but as you can see, it doesn't get supported or used too much.
(this particular topic is for the obsolete 0.5 version of Adblock Plus):

If you are still up to fiddling with the old 0.5 version, it seems Firefox 3.1 beta has made the adblock statusbar text/icon disappear entirely (though the filters still work!)
Since I have a ton of 0.5 rules that don't seem to import into the 0.7+ project, I'd like to keep using this if possible...
Either way, thanks for making this, greatly appreciated.

Adblock Plus should be able to block AD in pages opened by "IE Tab"
To my knowledge, Adbock Plus cannot block ADs when one page is opened by "IE Tab" addon. Are there any addons can clean ADs from IE Tab opened pages?

With Addons and external software for IE perhaps but nothing in Firefox will be able to do anything in IE. IETab does not emulate IE but uses the actual Trident engine from IE in a tab and is why this Extension is for Windows only.
