Firefox 3 logging out of sites even though I hit Remember Me

*shrug* I can't guarantee your situation is identical to mine. I'm just telling you exactly what I did, and it worked for me. At this point, what do you have to lose?

Weird. All the Add-on's I listed above are now reinstalled on my (working) installation of Firefox 3. So my solution is as follows:
1.) Back up your bookmarks using Foxmarks.
2.) Uninstall Firefox.
3.) Start+R (Run) %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Extensions
4.) Delete everything in that directory.
5.) Reinstall Firefox.

Well I got the same issue, and I re-installed Windows two days ago... So all measures like "uninstall add-ons" etc... are worthless :/

I really dunno why Firefox 3 delete all my cookies randomly...

Well after testing my add-ons one by one, issue was caused by TorButton :/

It solved my problem, yes.

First i did as what captainwesker say, and it worked perfectly.
But when i reinstalled all the extensions , it deleted all my cookies again.

at last , i found that the TorButton caused the problem.

PS: Antipika, if i read your post earlier , i would save much time.

I get something similar, but it only works when I hit a certain number of sites. I'll try and explain:

Say I visit 10 sites everyday. These sites remember my username and password, and log me in automatically. Everything fine, not a hitch.

Then I go and sign up with site 11. Set it to remember my username and password, auto log in. Works fine for that site. BUT I now find I've been logged out of one of my regular 10 sites. I have to sign in again. If I sign up for another site, ANOTHER one of my regular 10 is logged out. It is like: Firefox will only keep you automatically logged-in to xxx sites at a time. If you sign up for a new logon with some other site, it drops one of your previous sites.

Any idea where this "number of remembered sites" is stored? Is it hard-coded, or in config? Like the posts above, FF isn't forgetting the username and password, just forgetting that I'm supposed to automatically log in. Any ideas?

followed your solution and then uninstalled TorButton, i did not get the problem any more

I followed the steps exactly and it still deletes my cookies. I'm going back to Firefox 2 for now.

Vista 64 and my cookies still reset, even after reinstalling after wiping the extensions directory. This is a pain. Did not have a problem with RC1.
