saving messages HELP!!!!

i would like to be able to save a copy of my incoming mails to a separate folder. how do i do this? where can i find the mailbox folders?

the mail folder is in your profile folder: http://texturizer.net/firebird/edit.html#profile (replace the phoenix parts with thunderbird)

or use mozilla backup: http://backup.jasnapaka.com/
