Bugzilla Reorganization (Bugmail)

Post by JoeS »

A major reoragization of buzilla is soon to come.(possibly next week)

The major thrust is to correct QA contacts, and assigees, that are incorrect or no longer active.
As a result, if you are on the cc list for one of the affected bugs, you will receive bugmail.

This might be the time to "clean house" on your cc lists.

I am copying this post into Firefox and Thunderbird Builds...

Please DO NOT PM me for support... Lets keep it on the board, so we can all learn.

This happened in the night of July 30 to 31, most importantly:
  • "Mozilla Application Suite" finally has become "SeaMonkey", and
  • "Core" with "MailNews: something" is now "MailNews Core" with "something" as component (does not apply to the "Networking:" components for POP, IMAP, SMTP, and News, those stay in "Core").

Thanks for pointing this out - I've updated my bugs fixed / broken queries to take this into account.
(I actually joined in 2002 and made 6,093 posts, now shown under "old jasonb", before the site tried to kill me off...)

You are welcome. Yes, I had to adjust my search templates as well. :-)
