Thanks TheOneKEA - I'm currently working on the next release of Web Developer so this is on the back burner, but I'll be going back to it after the Web Developer release which will be in the next week.

My plan is to wait for the 0.8 release on Monday and then do some retesting of the code and see if the problem still exists. If it does then I'll ask the JSLib guys to fix the bug and re-release the extension once all issues are resolved...

Okay, so with the release of Firefox 0.8 I'm reopening this topic and have made the extension available for download again.

I have tested it under Windows 2000 and XP and it looks good, but the major issues before were with Linux. So who wants to be the guinea pig? :)

This requires JSLib to run. You can download that from:
http://downloads.mozdev.org/jslib/xpi/jslib_current.xpi

Post here if you have any problems...

Cheers,
Chris

This extension totally rocks (using WinXP tho, so couldn't test on linux for you).

The only thing this needs now is the button on the actual options dialogue. Any luck on that?

If it looks like this extension is going to work again, then this will be my focus for the next release as to be honest there is not much other functionality I think I need to put in.

You should definitely try the grabbing the latest JSLib. I can also try installing and uninstalling the basics extension - where can I download it from?

Verified - this does not work in uninstalling the Basics extension. I'll let the JSLib guys know...

<b>EDIT:</b> actually I can't even disable this extension. This makes me think this is a problem with the way this extension is written rather than the uninstall code.

found a couple of problems:
- about button still isnt working for me even with the latest jslib
- when selecting an extension and click ok, then cancel, it will still poup the uninstall dialog for me, clicking cancel again will remove the dialog.
