Wow this build is fast. I haven't experienced one jpeg break either! :) Thanks stipe.

I should also notice that I have applied the patches to the gif and jpeg libs that fix the crashes.

stipe, first of all thanks for building again. I tried this one (O2GL7SSE), but I can't use it due to immediate crashes whenever I try to customize my toolbars. I had the same problem with the Feb 04 O2GL7SSE build. Is this problem with these optimization flags already known?

This build crashes a lot. No jpegs breaks yet, but randomly crashing when opening sites, when adjusting extension properties and when opening/closing sidebars is not good. Btw, I use the G7 (without SSE) build.

G6-SSE build working fine & very fast on my p3-1ghz, including customizing toolbars. no crashes yet.

on down side, somehow it's been infected with that horrible blue blob with the bent orange 'F' where the firebird flame icon used to be.

i also note the official release installed into 'mozilla firefox' subdir, scragz 0209 build installed into 'mozillafirefox' and this one installed into 'firefox' (took me a bit to find where it went...)

anyway, thanks for the build, it's faster than the official one by far....

Excellent build as always, your G6 works really fine on my old Amd K6-2 400 Mhz, a lot of thanks Stipe =)

I've just seen that the xpi installer a la Fx 0.8 is now on the nightly too.

Two additional things: I didn't have these crashes with aebrahim's O2GL7SSE build from Jan 30, and I'm using an Athlon XP.

Now that's a build! Performance for me (G6 SSE) is literally excellent, even for an -o2 build. Many thanks stipe. :)

No crashes, no image problems, no toolbar problems, no plugin problems, but I *did* find another problem, namely scrolling an image heavy page by scrollbar (by clicking above or below the thumb), causing messed up browser window contents and a semi-disfunctional scrollbar, which looks and quacks like a regression.

great build, but the UA says:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040211 Firebird/0.8.0+ (stipe)

That's exactly what mine says, I guess it must be right then :)

ghola, please provide a link, that exposes the possible regression!

what other string would you expect, berkut?
firefox in it?

Which is faster?

Scragz's or Stipe's?
