Thunderbird in its own sandbox
I haven't tried Thunderbird yet (I use the Mozilla suite), but was wondering if Thunderbird has the ability to open emails in its own sandbox (to protect the computer from viruses)? Seems to me an important security feature that's missing from email clients. Thanks.

It was their somewhere I'll bet.
Was it HTML? and have an image with it? or a web page shown, with links?
I've never heard of a virus being part of the email text as being 'executable'.
I've seen some 'spoofing' but it's stupid buttholes trying to make a user think they sent them a virus.
Rule One - don't open attachments.
