When did we change to the name "shredder"? Is that the new Mozilla Thunderbird name, or is that the new "codename" for builds?
Noticed this on the 2008071503 build

How to you add an IMAP certificate exception ?
How do you add an exception for an IMAP host with a self sign certificate ?
It used to be that when you got the certificate error dialog box there was a button on it to add the exception for that host. But now the interface for adding the exception wants to get the certificate, try to get it from the https://{hostname} which is different than the one served by the IMAP server.
How is it supposed to work ?

Tools --> options --> Advanced --> certificates
click on "view certificates" then click on the button "Add Exception"

Yes, I knew about that but how do you specify that it should fetch the certificate from an imap server instead of the web server (https://) ? Because in my case, my isp seems to be using 2 different program with 2 different certificates.

You could try putting in the specific port you will connect on (like for instance 587 for SMTP). Use: http://mail.domain.com:587 and that should get you the cert for that specific port.

Mozilla Messaging folks wanted something like Firefox branding of "Minefield"
This is to indicate the the builds are not final product, and could have problems.
The branding will be there for nightlies, and alphas, but not for the TB3 release.
