Nice, I was hoping something like this would come along.

(Although I'm not sure that two versions are really necessary, I doubt the size is an issue for anyone and adding a pref isn't a big deal)

I notice that the A version it only remembers the window state if you click the OK button. If you Cancel the bookmark dialog, it doesn't remember whether it was open or closed. This is on Firebird 0.8, Windows 2k.

Yeah, it only remembers when you click on OK. I wasn't sure if I should've made it remember when you click Cancel because you are cancelling...what do you guys think?

Nothing should be changed if the user clicks cancel, so the current behaviour is perfect :)

Great extension. Thanks!
Any bugs open to get this as the default behavior? It certainly should be.

Is it possible to install to a profile directory? As far as I can tell, the (B) variant does not ask and automatically installs to the program directory.

Hmm...it works for me. Anyone else see or not see the prompt?

I did not get a prompt to install to the profile directory as thenightfly said.
I installed the (B) type.

I updated the XPIs' install scripts to hopefully fix the install to profile problem. Can you guys try again? Not sure if you have to uninstall the extension first? Or just install the new XPI the next time you guys upgrade your browsers.

The (B) installed properly to profile for me this time, and I didn't even uninstall the original. Thanks again!
