One minor gripe: When the tab bar is hidden, the botton of the navigation toolbar ends rather abruptly. The grey just suddenly cuts off, whereas when the tab bar is displayed, there is a nice 1px dark grey line that marks the division between browser chrome and webpage. Could that line somehow be worked in, even when the tab bar is hidden?
Another minor bug: When rolling over the buttons on the left-hand side of the Options dialog, the content on the right seems to "jump" back and forth about 1px. It's not just me, right?

Hi Ozphactor,
The rollovers actually jump on purpose I thought it would help the user recognize the button's text.
I have been trying to figure out how to work in a better end for the toolbar. The trouble is that the developers decided to disable the bottom border of the #toolbox. A bottom border is specified (and shows up in the view source and javascript dialogs) but won't display in the main window.
If anyone has any recommendations on how I can implement such a line, I would love to hear!
By the way, ozphactor, I would like to thank you for the comment on alazanto!

Heh, sorry if I didn't make myself clear. It's not just the text in the button themselves that are jumping (that doesn't bother me), but the entire content box to the right (where all the options are) is shifting back and forth. It doesn't seem intentional to me.
EDIT: Ok, after experimenting a bit, I can get more specific. This behavior only occurs when hovering over the "Web Features" button, not any of the other ones. This is just a stab in the dark, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the width of that button, because the words "Web Features" are longer than the rest. Maybe if you widened the left-hand column ever so slightly, this would go away?

aaron wrote:If you figure out how to -moz-box-orient: vertical the mail-button, let me know. I tried to specify it with the !important flag for the code I used to skin the button, but no luck with that.
I was looking at the code for the mail-button and here are my findings:
1) The orient attribute is specified in the XUL file for the mail-button and it doesn't look like you can override it with CSS. I tried adding the -moz-box-orient everywhere and it would never change. You can easily override it with an extension overlay but that brings us to...
2) The mail-button is of type "menu" and not "menu-button" as the Back and Forward buttons are. This means there isn't a main button with a dropdown menu on the side, it's just a menu wherever you click on it. While working on my Buttons! extension, I was going to have a button of type "menu" but noticed that with orient=horizontal, it showed the button with the text to the right and the dropdown marker to the right of the text. If I changed it to orient=vertical, it would show the button with the text under the button <b>and the dropdown marker under the text</b>. If you try changing the Back button to orient vertical, you can see what I mean.
So the best way for things to get resolved is for the developers to turn the button into a "menu-button" with the default action probably to open the mail client. That way, it'll follow the styling rules of the other buttons. Either that or have some other orient attribute that allows a button of type "menu" to have the text under the button and the dropdown marker to the right.

Further refinements along with a little love for the page setup dialog. If any extension developers are interested in me supporting them, please contact me via kevin@alazanto.org
I should probably add that I am still embedding the .PSD files in the theme. If anyone would like to modify those files and spin off from my development, they are certainly encouraged to!

awesome!
Your theme is truly awesome. I like it a heck of a lot. Since lynchknot hasn't updated the themes I like most to Firefox compatibility I think I"ve found a new favourite browser. This is one truly awesome theme! Keep up the good work.

Hey, I like the update. The only thing that annoyed me about the first version was the double border address bars, which were a bit visually distracting (the ones around popup menus didn't bother me as much), but I see you've changed it to a nice little inset look now. I also like the subtle gradients in the Page Setup dialog and elsewhere. Very slick.
If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you also skin the icons in the Web Developer extension sidebar (hit Ctrl-Shift-E). There are just 4 little icons at the top that look out of place.
Thanks, and keep up the great work!
