Why are some bugs forgotten?

cool... I've therefore just marked 2 of those bugs resolved - not sure if there's something that may need looking at in the 3rd bug.
to answer the question why some bugs are ignored - it's because there are tens of thousands of bugs, and hundreds more every week, but only a few people looking at them, so there isn't time to look at all of them. if you want to help out (and you don't have to write code - anyone with a little technical knowledge can do <a href="http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/">testing and triage of bugs</a>, or <a href="http://www.mozilla.org/projects/tech-evangelism/get-involved.html">help with tech evangelism</a>), that would be great
