Real Player 11 Not Working Properly In Firefox 3.0
I reinstalled Real Player 11 and it has a "Download This Video" button that pops up on a video. This download Video is not popping up in Firefox 3.0 The plug in has a red exclaimation point beside it and I cannot "Enable or Disable it because these are paled out. How do I get this plug-in enabled? I have Vista Home Premium 64bit OS
I read the info about the Real Player Plug-in , but still do not understand how to fix this. This problem is not just the embed problem , it is a plugin that cannot be enabled because it is paled out , therefore unable to use the plug-in.

Youll have to wait until RealPlayer is updated for Firefox 3 compatibility.

Re: Real Player 11 Not Working Properly In Firefox 3.0
I tried to download videos using firefox 3, but it didn't work. Therefore I uninstalled it, and I installed Firefox 2.0 again using a firefox 2.0 setup file. It really sucked that the plug-in doesn't work. It's hard choice, but I can't live without real player 11 plugin. Until the issue is resolved, I'm going to continue to use firefox 2.0.

Re: Real Player 11 Not Working Properly In Firefox 3.0
There's a new version of Real Player v11 that has updated the RP Record extension
for Firefox v3.0.4.
You can either use the Real Player to update or go to Real.com here....

I have WIN XP SP3, RealPlayer 11.0.6(6.0.14.835), RealPlayer Plugin 6.0.12.46 and Firefox 3.0.4 and RealPlayer download recording doesn't work. How did you get yours to work?
On Firefox 2.0.0.18 with RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin 1.0 RealPlayer download recording works fine.

Have you checked the prefs in Real Player?
> To set the RP Record function in Firefox, open RPlayer, go to Tools > Prefs > Download & Recording & make your selections.

Web Download and Recording is enabled in RealPlayer preferences.
Also, I'm using Flash player 10, but on a right click there is no menu item for downloading video to RealPlayer like there is in Firefox 2.

Not sure but have you tried the RP off line installer from the link, ^^^^, with everything closed?
The RP Browser Record v1.0 extension should also be in the Firefox Addons/Extensions Manager.

In Firefox 3, the RP Browser Record v1.0 extension is not in the Firefox Addons/Extensions Manager. In Firefox 2 it's there. How to I get it for Firefox 3? It was there before I upgraded from Firefox 2 to 3. I have Firefox 3 installed on one computer and Firefox 2 installed on another computer. I can test both versions this way.

Dude, who in their right mind uses Real Player...? Get Real Player Alternative from the Final Builds site and your problems will be over.

Re: Real Player 11 Not Working Properly In Firefox 3.0
Hi LIMPET235
Real Player Recording is now working in Firefox 3.0.4 and The RP Browser Record v1.0 extension is in the Firefox Addons/Extensions Manager. I just uninstalled Firefox 3.0.4, reinstalled Firefox 2 .0.0.18, waited until the New Version Available link appeared then upgraded to Firefox 3.0.4 and Real Player Recording works.
Thanks for your help.
Now I guess it's on to tackling the slow bookmark handling problem.

Hi EvenSteven
I'm in my right mind and use Real Player. I like it and it works well for me. But I'm open to any recommendations you may have on a Real Player Alternative. Please tell me how and where to go to get it. Please send me a link.
Thanks
Bobby

Hi Bobby...
Glad you were finally able to get RPBR functioning again.
To save you a few keystrokes......
