Importing IE Favorites?

I'd just like to know how I go about importing my bookmarks from IE. I've gone into the bookmark manager and tried importing from there, but I'm unable to select everything within the Favorites folder.

Press Ctrl+B. You should see a folder called Imported IE Favorites. All your IE bookmarks should be there.

I just tried that. I do get the folder called "Imported IE Favorites", in the bar to the left. However, there is nothing in that folder, although I have many "Favorites" in IE. So apparently nothing has been "imported". As the OP wrote, how does one "import" the IE "Favorites"?

There are two methods:

In IE:
File > Import/Export > Export Favorites > Save the file.
In Fx:
Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > File > Import > Locate

Or:

If you put this in user.js
user_pref("browser.bookmarks.added_static_root, false);
It will continually import the IE Favorites
