I have this, but the Add-ons popup says, "Not compatible with Firefox 3.0.5"
But it won't let me delete it.
How do I get rid of this Add-on?

Hello Richard..
The pop-up can be stopped by going into Real Players prefs.
In Real Player, Tools > Prefs > Download & Record.....Uncheck "Web D/L's & Recording".
There's also a registry entry..
> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions > C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\browserrecord
There's a new version of Real Player v11 that has updated the RP Record extension
for Firefox v3.0.4.
You can either use the Real Player to update or go to Real.com here....
> Real Player v11.0.6
To set the RP Record function in Firefox, open RPlayer, go to Tools > Prefs > Download & Recording & make your selections.
Have a safe & Happy New Year.

Read this ... You might need to use the Manual Removal method... http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_add-ons

You have to go to the Preferences in the RealPlayer and disable the extension there.
You can disable/remove the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension in the RealPlayer Preferences (Tools > Preferences > Download & Recording in the RealPlayer).
Firefox finds the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension via a registry scan, so you can only disable the extension in Firefox, but not uninstall it.
