Does anyone know if Thunderbird will be able or import in-boxes and profiles from Outlook, Eudora and Pegasus Mail?

Our is just too soon for that?

System requirements

Post by jparsons »

Anyone know what the system requirements are? I looked, but didn't see them. AOL Communicator's requirements were lower than Mozilla's, and it could be used on slower computers than Mozilla itself could. I'm just curious if Minotaur/Thunderbird could be, too.

Where are the forums? (posting for the 5th time.. i keep getting an "Invalid_Session" error.)

Ahhh it posted on this computer, no idea what the problem is over on my other machine.

I was wondering where the project page is, and where I can find the forums every one is talking about.

Minotaur is excellent

Post by klepto »

I installed it today and I am thoroughly pleased.
Is Minotaur currently using all the features of Mozillamail
or is it like a trunk? It's really great and I can't wait until
there are some themes and more functionality.

In particular filters that look for specific headers in email like X-RBL-Warning

I thought Minotaur would be listed under projects, say: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minotaur/

But later found thru a google search
http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/minotaur/

Anyway, i wonder when we'll be seeing nightlies of Minotaur coming just like Phoenix did?

i just tried it, without downloading any messages, and i had a few issues. which is normal, i think, but i am not sure if we are already supposed to post bugs, as in this prealpha stage (and maybe most of them are known by the devs). are we?

I have tried it aswell, and must say, it's looking damn good considering it's current development state.

Great work, can't wait to see how it progresses!
