New Mail doesn't show until you change folders

I have a filter that puts a bunch of mail from friends into a seperate folder, when I hit Get Mail, I have to click on another Folder (Inbox in my example), and then click back on my 'friends' folder, and only then does the new mail appear.

anyone else notice this odd "lag" or behaviour or whatever it may be called?

hey, as long as it's happening to other people and not just me.

whenever bugtracker opens for minotaur, i'll file this bug (if it isn't already there)
