Heh, I did this by hand yesterday; I should have waited a day. Does it work for javascript bookmarklets?

Idea: now that the favicons are properly stored locally, how about a "Refresh" button that would just attempt to re-fetch the icon from the URL that's bookmarked?

I also suggest putting a depressed bevel box around the icon, will look more polished IMHO.

Of course, the favicons are all lost again after installing a new version. They still aren't stored in user's profile, but must be with the program somewhere.

I love this extension, but it still has some erratic behavior. Some of my "custom" favicons appear and others don't. There doesn't seem to be any pattern or reason. Later, some of the ones that weren't showing might show. How are these stored? Are they stored the same way Firefox now stores favicons. It would probably be a good idea if they were, so all favicons would be fetched the same way at the same time. I'm looking forward to future versions of this extension! Thanks, Torisugari!

*sigh*
Please read the bug first, and assure the patch is working for you before installing this extension.

Is the said bug a problem again in the latest nightlies? I'm using 0727 and faviconpicker doesn't work too well and firefox faficons in general are a bit erratic.
Is there a specific nightly where this works better than others?

Is that branch build, not trunk? 20040727 WFM, though I had to create a brand new profile.

WFM
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040727 Firefox/0.9.1+ (MOOX-AV)

though I don't really like the border and the ok and cancel buttons are partially cut off..
