Copernic

Post by cynic »

I use this nice little proggie to keep tabs on my documents. I do not use it for browsing or emails. In an attempt to speed up the loading of Firefox I examined my addons and found 'Copernic Desktop Search - Home Connector'. (I wish programs would stop 'helping' users behind their backs.) I have disabled it , no problem - but how do I get rid of it?

I am assuming that you cannot uninstall it by going to Tools-->Options-->Add-ons and uninstalling it there. If that is the case you might have to go to Add/Remove programs and see if it is listed there. If not, you should go back Copernic and ask them.

Correct. I wondered if it could be identified in my profile or through an 'About' page.
Oh well, off to Copernic.
Thank you.
