Hi I'm using the latest nightly and recently my messages on you tube and topix aren't clearing when i read them so i have 25 unread messages when i have read them all. i suspect it's a youtube problem but i thought it might be to do with cookies so i posted it here. is anyone else seeing this? i will do some testing tomorrow with ie and other builds.

From yesterday's thread:
WildcatRay wrote:Gmail users: I have been noticing this when viewing email by label:

Click on the label. In that view check several emails to, let's say, "Archive" them. When clicking on the "More Actions" button where the Archive action is, the drop down menu that appears initially flashes under the Remove Label button on the left before appearing as it should under "More Actions".

I've seen this both in my main and almost extension free profiles.

Anyone else seeing this, too?

What version of Gmail are you using? On the new version I use there is no option as Archive.
Edit: what I mean is that there is no menu option under More Actions, Archive is a separate button.

New version of Gmail. But, first you have to have defined a label and applied it to some of your emails. Then, click on the label (on left of Inbox listing of your emails) to just see a listing of the emails that also have the label on them. At that point, Archive is under the More Actions button. It is there where I see this flashing of the drop down menu.

Could minefield have something to do with Google Desktop Search (GDS)? As of today, I get the "Google Desktop is not running" message when using the floating search box...
