Pandora will not work in Firefox

Post by Pandora Help »

Pandora will not load in Firefox. I go to the pandora website and the area where the player normally loads is white space. I have tried uninstalling, deleting all add-ons and everything else in the Mozilla Firefox folder and reinstalling. It still does not work. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled adobe flash.

Pandora does work in Chrome.

Before I had the problem I added the add-on Better Privacy which deals with flash cookies. What has happened? I have reinstalled with no add-ons and I am still having the problem. I deleted the Mozilla Firefox folder so nothing should be left of the old program.

What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

I'd just like to add I'm having the exact same problem, no addons were installed/updated recently and Pandora was working fine 1-2 days ago.

I just discovered this problem as well. Pandora worked fine just a few days ago and still works in Internet Explorer. Could it have anything to do with a recent Firefox update?

I was afraid of this. I might have to revert until they fix the problem. I need my Pandora and I refuse to use Internet Explorer.

After further research, it appears that the 64 bit edition of Firefox 3.5 doesn't have a compatible x64 browser edition of Flash, which is why Pandora won't load. Adobe says they're working on it though, http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html

I've seen this just today on firefox portable (and firefox). firefox portable wasn't up to date. i updated it and it still didn't work. I'm on a 32 bit system. everything works fine in IE and chrome.

Seems odd this happened all of a sudden.
