setting up a Firebird login
I just installed new software and it says "Your user name and password are not defined. Ask your database administrator to setup a Firebird login." How do I do that? Thanks for any help--jwesley

Ask your database administrator to setup a Firebird login.
When does it say this?

And Firebird? Firefox hasn't been called that for years.

This independent forum is for various Mozilla products/projects support as the Firebird you are referring to http://www.firebirdsql.org/ has no relation other than causing Mozilla to change the browser name from Firebird (0.6,0.6.1,0.7) to Firefox during 0.8 release to present.

And if I ever need a db manager, it won't be that one.
