Popup Blocker not working at CBS.Sportsline.com

Post by TreeGo »

At http://www.sportsline.com/ , if I hover over MLB in the main menu and then click on Standings, I get a popup ad. This has happened today and yesterday.

Are you using 0.93? I hear the popup blocker has been improved in the nightly versions.

Yes, I get a 'SpecificPop' pop-up with each visited page within CbsSportsline. Its been going on since v.0.8.9, when I joined.

It's the only pop-up I get.

OK here's the way you get rid of that pop up on the CBS site!

Right Click on the AD and select Properties.
Copy the URL in the Properties Box
In the Tools select Adblock and select Preferences
Paste the URL into the new filter box, click on add.

No more ad on that site!!!!!

One thing that's always missing from these threads: When you post you results from the site, include your list of installed extensions. Version number gets left out by a lot of people, too. Both of these could be very relevant, so we should try to remember to include them.
