sorry! i have installed the 0.5.7.7.b2 and it is not really working correctly. at times it shows the inbox-count, but does not connect, at other downs it just does not work at all like he old version ...! really annoying this is ...

I, apparently, have been having the problem longer than anyone else I can find online.. Gmail Manager failed to login and give me my inbox status on 2 laptops and a desktop almost 3 weeks ago

None of these beta patches are working for me either. It tries to log in but gives up after 2 seconds and displays the grey google M with exclamation mark over it.

This is easily my number 1 most used plugin, and the first thing I install after a new firefox install. I have no idea how many countless hours its saved me

I pray to the underworld that it will work again.

0.5.7.5b2 stopped working today. Same usual behavior: all zeros but when i check GMail manually, there's a new mail.

Doubtful. Does Chrome have native gmail count checking? It's likely that they just keep changing the code for new features.

Thanks the 0.5.7.5b2 worked for me -- I'm using Google Apps / Gmail for my domain --- I previously had a problem with Google Gears installed the Gmail Manager shows 0 new mail too --- so if you're still having the 0 problem after updating to the 0.5.7.5b2 maybe its' a combination problem of Google Gears being enabled.

Any ideas when the 0.6.x release will be ready for some testing? I've went back to the 0.5.7.5 version for now but I really miss seeing both of my gmail accounts at the same time and the message preview is much less intrusive.
