Re: Post the extensions you want compatible with SeaMonkey
GigMormon requested Make Link to be ported.
Phil
Make Link an extension for Mozilla Firefox which adds a context menu item (Make Link) that allows the user to easily copy links to the clipboard in HTML, forum-code or simple "text (URL)" format. It also allows the user to create his or her own link types to use with the extension, and to modify or remove the default three. From version 3.0.1 there is also support for Markdown by default.
The function works in three different ways. The copied link is stored in the clipboard to be pasted into whatever application the user wishes.
- When used on a link it uses the link's own URL and link text for the new link.
- When used on selected text it uses the page's URL as the new link URL and the selected text as the new link text.
- When used elsewhere it uses the page's URL and title for the new link.
Install Make Link for Seamonkey 1.0 to 2.1a:
make_link-9.08-mod.xpi

Aaargh. It overlays chrome://navigator/content/navigatorOverlay.xul instead of navigator.xul and you are probably seeing that message in other windows (which may not have those menu items) that also use navigatorOverlay.xul, er, like Console2 and the native error console.
OK. Fixed. I've updated the XPI. The link is the same.

Does the Secure Login extension look do-able?
For SeaMonkey 2.0, probably. It's on my TODO list.

I emailed the dev and didn't get a response.
I tried to follow the tutorial but did not find the same files mentioned to be modified.

I'll have a look.

Re: Post the extensions you want compatible with SeaMonkey
Hello ! This is not a post asking for a customize from Fx add-on to SM compatible, but rather asking for support the idea "Let Feedly works on SM2" .
Feedly is popular modern feed reader extension for Firefox. you can read detail from here: http://www.feedly.com/
Now, despite a fact SM2 already has its own feed reader, I believe it is great idea if SM2 can have alternative with more modern style. And Feedly dev team actually starts to show interest to support SM. so if any of people following this thread interest to have new nice looking feed reader on SM, please support this idea from below link;

I've put up Calculator 1.1.15-bump.xpi on my webpage entry for Calculator: http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modified.html#calculator
Cheers.

Mozdev – Bug 21971 (Modified ReloadEvery extension not working due to typo in installer).
Thanks to a user for reporting this and submitting a patch. ReloadEvery has been updated and pushed to mozdev. It should now work in SeaMonkey 2.0.
ReloadEvery is here http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#reloadevery It's a bit old.
You might want to try out Check4Change instead http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#check4change

Unfortunately these are all too old to port to SeaMonkey 2.0. These will have to be rewritten significantly which is outside the scope of this thread. This thread is more on porting current Firefox and Thunderbird extensions to SeaMonkey. And from now on I am going to concentrate mostly on SeaMonkey 2.0.

Since Tab Mix Plus and Multizilla are not likely any time soon, I could live with Tab X for Seamonkey 2.x. Is Tab X a possibility? It beats right-click and "Close Tab."

SeaTab X
The SeaTab X extension places a close button on each individual tab (both browser and mail) and removes the program's default single tabbrowser-tabs close button. This extension was based on Stephen Clavering's Tab X for Mozilla. The code was updated for SeaMonkey 2 and new images plus a "Close Tab" tooltip were added.
The screenshot above shows this extension on the Mostly Crystal theme, but the default close images were developed for SeaMonkey's default theme.
