xul.dll is not valid Windows image

Post by Maria Garcia »

Please HELP, I can't get firefox to work: When I click on the "Mozilla Firefox", there is a message that comes up, saying the following: The application or DLL c:\Program files\ Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll is not valid Windows image. I'm not an expert on computers so, I need your help as soon as possible. Thank you.

Perhaps go to mozilla.com and download the latest Firefox version. Then uninstall the one you have and then install the latest version.

As a registered user at this board I can see from your user agent string that you're infected with Zango malware. You also seem to have malware called Sbcydsl. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diag ... or_malware

You might want to get rid of any malware as your first step.

It may be necessary to delete the Firefox program folder and all its files before installing a new downloaded copy of Firefox.
