Re: Silvermel and Charamel - Themes for Firefox and Thunderbird
Hi
My toolbars aren't working with personas - they stay with a plain background. I've tried running with just personas and silvermel without success. Personas do work with the default firefox theme. Firefox 3.5.5, Silvermel 1.3.0, Personas 1.4, Ubuntu 9.10
thanks
Rohan

Hmmm.... It works for me under Windows... Unfortunately I'm unable to test it on Linux. Can someone under Linux confirm this?

Same thing for me: with Firefox 3.5.5, silvermel 1.3.0 and personas 1.4 on Debian 5.0, the navigation and bookmarks toolbars stay with a plain background. Everywhere else the personas theme is properly applied.

Hi, could you take a look at autoHideStatusbar [floating mode] under your skin? Looks quite awful.
I'd be thankful if you'd skinned it and supported too .

Oh, it seems you _do_ support aHS. Still, doesn't look well on Linux though.
Tomorrow will try to give you a screenshot, if Firefox doesn't crash again.

Thank you guys for feedback!
I'm willing to release a new version at AMO, just waiting for the screenshots regarding autoHideStatusbar issues...
Cheers

It's the floating mode [non jumpy for websites content]. Non-floating mode is slower, though looks better.

There's no background and the statusbar is click-through.

Hmm.. Things are looking wrong not only at the status bar but also at the address bar... Could you please try disabling the other extensions?

Re: Silvermel and Charamel - Themes for Firefox and Thunderbird
I enjoy using the Theme on a few different systems. Can it be adjusted to better allow the tab appearance customizations possible with TabMixPlus? It seems to block changes to tab background colors. I used to make my focused tab brighter than the others to really stand out on a very crowded tab bar. Awhile back, I had code in userChrome to make the focused tab taller with wider border...REALLY easy to spot then...but it got "broken" by FF3.5. Maybe its something that would be helpful to other users of Silvermel.
