I helped the Cooliris guys port the original Cooliris extension to SeaMonkey 1.x so obviously they should remember how it was done. Have you emailed them to ask them for SeaMonkey 2.0 compatibility with Coolpreviews? You can point them to this article here:

Thanks so much for writing us about making CoolPreviews available for Sea Monkey.
Interestingly, even though Sea Monkey is a Mozilla project, it's code base differs enough from Firefox that making CoolPreviews compatible would require a bit of work. This is particularly true since we'd need to write a new code base ourselves, doubling our code, QA, and development.
So, our team decided to focus only on Firefox now, making sure that we keep it updated and fresh, with new features and improved performance.
