I'm on the latest branch nightlies (moox versions). I still have no html file icon (XP), just the default Windows application icon.
Is this a problem for others? Why is this a problem only for FF? (Or just for me?)
Is this going to be fixed before the 1.0 release?
Thanks.

I'm having this problem with XP.
I don't know how it should work and what is causing this.
Now what happens in my system:
explorer.exe QueryKey HKCR\FirefoxHTML
Name: \REGISTRY\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\FirefoxHTML
explorer.exe QueryValue
HKCR\htmlfile\ShellEx\IconHandler\(Default) "{42042206-2D85-11D3-8CFF-005004838597}"
explorer.exe QueryValue HKCR\CLSID\{42042206-2D85-11D3-8CFF-005004838597}\Old Icon\htmlfile\DefaultIcon\(Default) SUCCESS "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe,1"

I'm using official Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 and XP PRO SP1a
I did some testing and the result is that registry key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\ShellEx\IconHandler
overrides Firefox document icon.
Delete key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\ShellEx\IconHandler
and restart Explorer. IE icon is gone and Firefox document icon is used for html files.

XP.
I tried the above and doesn't work for me. I still have no icon for html files.
In the registry under .html it says firefoxhtml. Under that it has my current nighly location. Under view/filetypes it shows the firefox icon as selected. Under html files properties is shows firefox selected again.
I also have reg entries for Mozillahtml, and MozillaXHTML. Are they still needed? (I don't use Mozilla suite.)
Any ideas???

I think this is that bug

It is a old bug. I hope they fix it, makes Firefox very unprofessional looking.
