Fb logo idea

Post by grayrest »

I was sitting around today and didn't want to code, so I decided to draw instead. Inspiration struck and I wound up (after several iterations) drawing the below logo. I like it, I just don't have any ideas on making it into an icon. Oh well.

I'm confused? I know it is suppose to be a firebird, but I can't make it out. Which way is the bird flying?

Here is a 32x32 version, but I don't have the tools to make a proper icon from it.

Well I don't get your avatar, so we're even ;]

The head is at the lower left, it's flying down and too the left.

Feng Huang in Chinese
Ho Ho in Japanese
Phuong in Vietnamese
To put it simply, it is a Asian phoenix.

Now, I see it. I was confused by the deep cuts in the bird at the lower left. The cuts broke the sillouette of the bird and made it appear to be raptor and then a dragon's head. It also made the head smaller than the actual bird and it seemed to be a swan's head. The smaller version minimized the cuts and it appeared more birdlike.

Nice Asian pheonix pictures.
