Differents browser.jar files selectable with -chrome option?

Post by twinsen »

Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way in Firebird to have two alternative versions of the browser.jar file, selectable with the -chrome command line option.

As far as I can tell there's something that I have to modify in the chrome registry, but I'm not sure what and how. (I tried to modify the chrome.rdf file to point to an alternate browser.jar but this hasn't worked as expected).

Any idea? I'm almost sure that this thing is possible...

thank you in advance,

you'd most likely need to give one of the browser.jar copies a different package name, which means editing all the chrome.rdf files inside it, as well as adding new entries to installed-chrome.txt for it.
