Hi,
using Firefox 3.6.8 on Windows XP. Sometimes Flash player is taking for ever to report a crash. Browser freezes for some minutes and then I get message if I want to stop executing Flash player with Yes/No buttons. But I can't click on this two buttons it just look whole browser freezes for some time.
After about 30 seconds or so, Firefox gets back from freeze state and reports Flash crash.
Is there any way I can lower the time for Flash crash? I don't user any special flash animations web page, so after few seconds (like 5 seconds) I would like to kill Flash movie if it is not responding. How to set this kind of setting in Firefox?
Thanks

Re: How to set flash crash timeout?
Try this:
In the address bar type about:config
Filter for dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs
Change that value to 5 (although that is likely to be much to soon you will need to play with number)
