I have uploaded the latest (20030609) builds I've done for Linux here:

You have the choice between libc6 2.2.5 or 2.3.1 (gtk2) and between english or french.

New build from 20030614 are available.
You will also find the chrome files for windows french translation of 20030611.

I'm trying to compile an optimized linux version (-O3) at the moment.
Will upload it if it's OK.

Optimized version for libc6 2.3.1 are ready.

Ta version francaise est toujours en anglais. As tu bien mis le fichier francais? Ou dois je preciser qq chose pour passer de l'anglais au francais?

Pour l'avoir en français sous Windows,il faut le lancer la première fois comme ca:
(traduction simultannée:
To have it in French on Windows launch it the first time like that: )

thunderbird -contentLocale fr-FR

Pour les fois suivantes ça devrait rouler une fois que le chrome.rdf est réglé dans le profil.
Je me suis aperçu de ça aujourd'hui, désolé

Ca marche parfaitement. Question de debutant: Est ce que c'est complique a traduire soi-meme? Ou est ce des fichiers ascii a modifier?

Ce sont des fichiers texte codés en UTF-8 et unicode.
Si tu es interressé tu peux visiter le site de traduction en français de Mozilla:

La traduction de Thunderbird est basée entièrement sur la traduction de Mozilla, j'ai juste adapté les différences.

It does not have any article. It's a common name. So it's « Mozilla ».
But as a browser you can say « Le navigateur Mozilla »
