No such issues here. Using the same profile from beta1 through beta 5. Backed up my current profile and tried with a new, clean profile. Still no https issues.

A update on this issue posted at https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/751415
Cww wrote:Sorry, after some investigation: this was a bug caused by a bad Test Pilot study that was released (and has now been taken back). In order to fix it:

Go to about:config in your location bar and in the Filter box type: Custom Value

For all those prefs, right click and select reset.

You'll have to set up proxy settings again (talk to your system admin if you need help)

The thread at SUMO has been updated with another possible cause:
Cww wrote:Beta 5 seems to have a problem with a certain kind of proxy: NTLM. I don't think there's a workaround for beta 5 but there will be a fix in beta 6.

Had no Custom Values in about config.
Set security.ssl.enable_false_start to false

Didn't fix. Looks like I may have an NTLM proxy.

I can also confirm that going to the https site in a private browsing session works whereas a normal session doesn't

Fix for HTTPS over NTLM proxy just landed on trunk. Should be out with today's nightly build.

It seems it didn't make it to beta6, still having problems with https sites.

Beta 6 is an emergency release to fix an issue that was causing beta 5 to crash. The updates that were originally planned for beta 6 have been pushed back to beta 7, which is still planned for late September.
