Unlike trunk, branch builds do not check all IMAP folders with "check this folder for new messages" option on on startup. Is it expected?

After emptying the trash, the number of messages in the trash folder remains. I am emptying it with the right mouse button. The only thing which clears that number is quitting and then restarting the program.

Also, over the last two or three days' builds, the little green and white envelope doodad in the lower right hasn't been popping up when new email comes in, but my sound still works so I know I have email. Just wondering if this doodad is broken. While fixing it, it would be even better if this popped up on the screen like Outlook and Outlook Express does to let me know a mail has arrived.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Of course, now it just worked, only not green and white like before, but a larger envelope thing with beige in it. It also disappears too fast where the green and white one used to stick around for a while.

Further info: All folders' numbers are doing this. I have one set up for notifications from this forum, and it said 6 until I clicked on it (after the new mail sound came) and saw the two new ones. The number then updated to 8 after selecting the folder. Just more of an FYI to you, MScott.
P.S. Why did you minus the "unable to unmark as read in search" bug?

More info on folder problems: I deleted a few messages, then went to the "Trash" folder to look at or recover or whatever, and it showed 2 messages and the size, but it would not show the messages. I don't even know where to begin to file a bug on this.

Still not autocompacting.
All offline settings set. Compact folders when it will save over 100 KB. (File, Offline Settings)
Using this build.

After having been waiting for this fix for a long time it finally works. I configured one Movemail account with global inbox and three identities and now Automatic Mail Collection every 1 minute works perfectly. Only setting up is a struggle since important items are missing in prefs UI.
There are some few movemail bugs more that I would like to see fixed: - Bug 200384 junk mail doesn't work for movemail
- Bug 253519 Non-working "Use Global Inbox" option is shown during Movemail account creation
- Bug 256969 Movemail Prefs Server Settings "Local directory:" not changeable and double
- Bug 256971 Movemail prefs missing options in Account Settings
