The Official 2004-09-24 Branch builds are out
Win setup, Win Zip, Linux and Mac.

The Official 2004-09-24 Trunk builds are out
Win Setup, Win Zip, Linux and Mac

The previous official build thread was ->2004-09-19.

These are changes between 2004-09-19 and now
Both fixes for MailNews and Thunderbird are included

If you find problems/bugs:
 1. Post them in this thread
 2. Properly describe the problem
 3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
 4. Include the "about mozilla thunderbird" information (under the help button)
 5. Installer build or .zip version?
 6. Did you completely erase the Thunderbird directory first?
 7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
 8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

we're having problems with the build machine and it's not compressing the installer. Hence the larger size.

I recall seeing something about a problem with To: addressing part of the program.

Is this a problem? Was it fixed? Got a bug #? I can't search bugzilla to save my life.

Cheers to the fix of TRUNK:#93426 Followups / replies are placed in thread in wrong order [All] That has been an annoyance for a *long* time

I'll have to wait until I can install this nightly on my laptop at home. I don't think there's any way I can test nightlies on my work machine anymore due to the apparent core instabilities with everything after 0.6. I just can't get anything newer to recognize my profile beyond telling me it's still in use and please select a different one.

I would feel a little better if I could hear at least one possible explaination over why I'm having such severe problems with my profile after trying to upgrade. So far I've gotten *zero* response from *anyone* even if it's a flame telling me I'm not following instructions.

This is too bad because I do the majority of, and a lot total, of my emailing at work.

Then the title of this should have been changed a few hours ago.

Jason, if really nothing worked, just create a new profile and then migrate your mails and addresses from the old one. I'd used about the same profile from 0.3 to 0.8+ and eventually did *this* as a "spring-cleaning" =)
hopefully you'll find further assistance in the appropriate forum if needed.

Using an Old Profile.
Had to reinstall the 6 extensions I use and they are functioning fine.
So far the todays TB BR build is running fine.

Just installed it over old one
