Is this a known bug or a new one? If new, can anyone confirm:

I have one account with multiple personalities.
First i set up the account to show up as root folder and picked "Local Folders" for all entries under "Copies & Folders" in the account settings.
This only works for the default personality.
If i send a mail from any other personality, it ends up in the "Sent" folder for the respective account.

Now if i select "Store pop3 mail in global inbox (Local Folders)" under Server Settings -> Advanced , the sent mail from non-default identities completely disappears.

That happened with the last patrocles tinderbox build - Mozilla Thunderbird 0.8 (Windows/20041008).

I would think total message size would be more importent since that's what really matters if one is worried about whether the message will be delivered or not.

I guess this maybe kinda usefull, but I always see the size in the explorer window where I drag from so it's not that big of an enhancment to me. There's many other, more serious, bugs I'd vote for first.

Yes there is alot of other bugs that are more serious than this:). But this should be one of the basic functions in a mail client along with the total size of the msg.
Also a BCC button are basic. And i have some clients that complain about this, and they think OE is better since you can see the size etc, etc.

Yea, six little mini buttons would probably be more intuitive than the dropdown and not really take any more space. Another enhancment that, for me, falls in the "would be nice to have, but..." category. I'm sure it'll be there someday. :)

Maybe time to close up any open bugs over the long weekend, and then come out with .9?

Sasquatch, you still having issues with folder message counts being incorrect sometimes? I still have that occasionaly at home on the lappy running the 1001 build. But... no problems here at work with todays OR the 1001 build. Wierd...

Group by Sort is a nice feature, but I have an undesirable effect:

Setting
Sort by: Date, Descending, Group by Sort. The setting is lost each time I navigate to another folder and come back.
Reverts to: Date, Ascending, Group by Sort.

This is true only for one of my accounts (IMAP), all other accounts (POP,IMAP) behave as expected.

I think this has finally cleared itself up for me. The only issue lately is speed, and this is on a P4 2.8 with 512 RAM.

Hmm, yea, it's kinda laggy on the laptop (P3-800 256MB) but it's pretty fast on my desktop here (P3S-1.13Ghz 512MB).

Then again I'm comparing against the massivly buggy Lookout 2000 with 100MB+ mailboxes. =)

Another thing about TB is this. The spell checker files should not get installed in to the program files folder.
Better to have them in the user profile folder.
